Learn to read, spell and write with The Word Factory Home School.
Our aim is to have every child in primary school, with rare exceptions, reading to ability.

Its unique, reliable structure is ideal for children with dyslexia and its visual approach is ideal for children with autism. Its uncluttered format is helpful and children who need more time can have it; they will be making steady progress.

The Word Factory Detectives are Taught In

Three Stages

Stage 1

Five times in week one to teach the alphabet and you are ready to test.

Stage 2

To be an effective reader you have to know and be able to use these sounds.

Stage 3

The eighteen Flip Books are linked to The Word Factory’s unique teaching structure.

What it Does

The Word Factory:

builds reading skills one by one ensuring competence.
builds writing competence from the start making enthusiastic writers.
